NOTE: The adult transgender support group meeting normally held monthly every 4th Wednesday has been temporarily put on hold. In its place, there is now an LGBTQ Northwest Indiana Wednesday Night Social Hour. See service listing for more details. Adult Transgender Support Group Meetings hosted by LGBTQ Northwest Indiana Inc. held on the second Monday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm (CT). All adult transgender, non-binary, gender-queer/fluid, intersex community members 18 years old or older and their significant others, family, friends may attend. The LGBTQ Northwest Indiana Wednesday Night Social Hour will be held online using the Zoom conferencing software. The social hour is every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm CDT. All transgender, non-binary, gender-queer/fluid, intersex community members 14 years old or older and their significant others, family, friends may attend. Geminus Community Partners
NonprofitThe LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender and Questioning) Community Project works with community groups, educators, healthcare providers and social service agencies to promote substance abuse prevention and mental health awareness for members of the LGBTQ community. Through the establishment of a network of LGBTQ groups throughout Northwest Indiana, the LGBTQ Community Project will provide training and resources including LGBTQ Cultural Diversity Trainings.
