Summer Camp

Summer & Functional Skills camps provide an opportunity for children of varying abilities to enjoy 10 action-packed weeks of community adventures and learning from mid-June to mid-August. Summer camp for all abilities encourages group interaction and teamwork for school-age 5 to 12 years while providing fun, learning experiences with arts & crafts, dance & karate lessons, gardening, hiking, mini-golf, & so much more. Functional Skills camp provides community-based activities for youth ages 13 to 18 who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. Includes similar fun activities with functional skills training for consistent practice to help retain & build skills by introducing hands-on experiences bridging the 2-month summer break gap. Additional activities include money management, pet care, career exploration, healthy eating, cooking & shopping, and much more.

YMCA Summer Camps

During the summer months when school is not in session, we offer two school-age summer camps with care provided Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM to children entering Kindergarten though 9th grades. Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship and CCDF Eligible. For children entering Kindergarten, we offer Kindergarten Bootcamps throughout the summer focusing on the skills necessary for a successful kindergarten year.
