Discovery Cottage hosts enrichment programs for children 2 through 5 years old. Our unique program is designed to provide a totally hands-on and kid-centered learning experience that will allow them to use their imagination. Classes range from three to four weeks, depending on the month. Children will participate in a wide variety of activities such as: playing games, performing experiments, and creating crafts. We take pride in not being a worksheet program. Kids learn hands on and have fun in the process. Come use your imagination and discover new friends!

School City of Hammond Head Start

No cost preschool for children ages 3 to 5 residing in the city of Hammond, Indiana. Students must be 3 on or by August 1st of the school year they are applying for (ex. turn 3 on or before August 1st, 2021 for the 21-22 school year). School City of Hammond Head Start is a two generation program delivering services in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way.
